The EmGEMx Proof of Reserve process, developed in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group and audited by Grant Thornton, leverages Chainlink's monthly data feed to ensure accurate reporting of Emerald Standard Units securely stored in the vault.

How we manage

Alignment with MiCAR and Swiss regulatory standards

EmGEMx leverages blockchain technology to provide an immutable and transparent ledger, ensuring real-time verification of reserves. The smart contract integrates a Chainlink data feed, guaranteeing that ESUs minted never exceed the emeralds securely stored in the vault.

All emeralds are securely stored in high-standard vaults, located in Switzerland's Gotthard Tunnel or Singapore, with rigorous access controls and 24/7 monitoring to ensure asset safety.

The legal framework has been developed in collaboration with Lawside in Switzerland, Stadler Völkel in Austria, and KGP Legal in Singapore. The Proof of Reserve process, created with Boston Consulting Group and audited by Grant Thornton, ensures EmGEMx adheres to stringent regulatory standards for maximum investor confidence.

Vault Security

EmGEMx reserve holdings are fully disclosed on a monthly basis, along with associated mint/burn flows. Additionally, Grant Thornton provides third-party assurance each month, verifying that the value of EmGEMx reserves exceeds the number of EmGEMx tokens in circulation. These reports are prepared in accordance with attestation standards.
